Whats the diff?

I have some tie rods im selling that were for my 89 325i. Was there ever a change in steering racks or tie rods? Thanks

nope.

other than the iX im pretty sure all the racks were the same except of course maybe the manual racks.

in short, all the tie rods should be the exact same

Cars without SRS have a different rack than cars with SRS. They will "interchange" but are not truly "interchangeable"

But the tie rods are all the same.
