I have a son. If you didn't know, well, you do now. I also have a full time job, and a girlfriend/life partner who is working on her RN. A week and a half ago, we lost a manager, and I have been putting in double time. Needless to say, my babysitting hours have been cut drastically. We have had to pull out a lot of favors from friends and family in order to keep ourselves on track. Looking for a house has only added to our distress. Last Saturday, a day I'm normally off work, we had to locate some to watch my boy. My girlfriend's brother, 17, and his girlfriend, 16, offered to help. This was unexpected at the least. We were very greatful as his grandmother was out of town. Late Friday afternoon, we received a text message that they would be unable to watch him as they both had poison ivy.

We scrambled and got another sitter with my brother's wife. The weekend went well. Sales were good. Life was going smooth.

Today we went to look a two more possible homes. My girlfriend's father accompanied us to offer some outside advice. After the first house he handed my girlfriend his health insurance card for her brother. Just in case he needed to visit the doctor. I was curious, and asked how he was and he told me of the "poison ivy" situation. It appears that his girlfriend had it about her face....and he had it about his crotch....DISCUSS

I've had poison ivy in the nether regions before. It was one of the worst experiences of my life. It was working as a gopher on a construction site when i was 14. The foreman told me to clear out this area full of vines and weeds. Little did i know, it was infested with poison ivy. Well immediately after clearing the area(without gloves) i went to the bathroom. The rest goes without saying. horrible...horrible.
