shoot a spyder with e-trigger. mostly into the speedball or other small person quick games with alot of action. the big games with alot of people get to boring at the end when its only a few people playing pop and shoot. woodsball is fun if you have a good team, and good gun setup. mine is setup to play the short field so the ball has to much curve to play woodsball or anything with more then 5 or so people on each side.

I use to play. When I was leaving the game, smart parts had just came out with the ION which completely threw the PB world for a loop. At that point I was only Div3 semi. Everything was sooooo expensive when I played, and paint still is.

I've had an Autococker, E-bladed 'cocker, Angel 4, Shocker SFT, Impulse, Ion, and played with a few others.

The paintball industry has been shooting itself in the foot for ages now. They overcharge for paint, overcharge for guns, and basically rape you of your $ any way they can.

I played for about 6 years in Semi Pro, (Amateur A back then!!) I played NPPL before the PSP split, I even used to play 10man old school ball!! I had a post in an older thread I'll link to. I've owned over 20 guns, been sponsored by everyone from PGi to Dye to Pure Energy. I quit back in '03 after the final Mardi Gras Open (who else remember's that??). I recently played Xball with the University of Maryland in the NCPA, we only lost 4 games the season I was there but I couldn't make Nationals which sucked. I've still got stuff all over the place. I'm back in Houston for thanksgiving and found an old school GZ Intimidator in the garage, still works after all these years! Anyone else remember Ground Zero?

I've been thinking about getting back in, My buddy Lucian Blackburn still plays pro ball and I've got friends on DC Arsenal and their D1 and 2 teams. We'll see what happens.

The ION was released to the market. It cost $300 or less new and could keep up with almost any high end marker out there. So everyone that just bought a new shocker/nerve/timmy/angel/dye/whatever for 1k was looking like an idiot. The ION was tourney legal and a **** ton of people used them. Basically everyone and their dad, who just started, had a gun that kept up with your marker that cost 3x more.

Who wants to go buy paint now? :rolleyes:

Then had #5 adrenaline impulse with a w.a.s 2.0 board i think. Then a DM3 and 2 dm6's and a Dye auto cocker which was uber sickk. I miss playing alot but 3-4 cases a weekend was getting to expensive

Ah, I miss my old Pro-Lite. Certainly not the fanciest gun but it never ever broke or malfunctioned on me. My buddies and I would run around in the woods behind our houses after highschool and play shoot 'em up or capture the flag if we had enough people. Sold all my stuff once I started college to buy books :(

My team and I played in PSP Chicago 2006. We were in high school, drunk from the night before, and I left my Angel One at home so I bought a PMR off some dude for $100 an hour before our first match :D It worked like **** and we got our asses kicked all day. The one shining moment we had was when we had all 5 of us shoot off break. Nobody ran, we stood there and emptied our hoppers, then tried to make it as close to the 50 as we could. Me and one other guy made it, and all my pods had fallen off on the run there :rofl1:

That trip was the biggest waste of money ever. In my paintball prime, I was a gun whore :)

My second gun and the one I play with now is my ATS AT-10.

I forgot about this thread. I'm hoping that maybe this year I'll be able to get back into it, but with my opera career finally starting to fill up the years schedule idk. When I was back at home I found one of my old gear bags with a couple uniforms (Empire & Dye stuff), 3 empire B's, a PM5 and Etek2. The MiniMax tank I had expired like 5 years ago so I'll need to get another one.

My buddy bought a PM6, Virtue and Dye Rotor, thing shoots faster than all hell. I really hope to get back in sometime soon

I sold my 98 custom and upgraded to this bad boy. I've also FINALLY switched to compressed air. That coupled with the marker and it's mods = INSANE performance. The accuracy allows for crazy grouping. I run it with a 62ci 3000psi Pure Energy tank and remote coil. We have a scuba tank we use on-site for refills.

I need to buy the lower profile hopper for it.

- polished internals (higher durability, less wear on internal components and a more efficient performance and accuracy)
- 5 mode e-trigger : 3 round burst, fully automatic etc.

Finally got my first gone and it was a older tipmann 98 custom. I took it apart, gave it a service, and painted it black/avus. cant wait to go out next weekend. Has a 12" barrel and just picked up an air tank for it.

I used to play twice a week growing up! Mostly local tournaments with the yearly Sd and LV PanAm tournys. Haha we would bum around this one shop any chance we got. I've walked in 10+ years later and the owner still knows my name
