I don't understand why he would go through all the trouble to redo the site, and then a week later shut it down. It doesn't make sense.

well shit..... i'lll miss E3S, i wish i could have printed out all the threads i liked before i was reborn.......there was some good info.......

anyway, Jordan i'd say did more than his fair share of posting on E3S and should be able to run an intelligent forum here.

Hope to see all the E3S good ole boys roll over here........well not the dumbshits......but all-stars at least like Stu, Ted, Kris, etc.

I read on Dave's site that TJ couldn't handle keeping up the site and school, and he got sued for $270 or something. This didn't come from dave, but it was posted on his site. Any truth to this? I just don't get why TJ had to be selfish and not pass the site on or even sell it to someone. Oh well, new begingings right here! :D

TJ did not get Sued, nor do I plan on sueing him. I had it as a thought and it was sent out though forums like mad. What happen is between TJ, Jordan And I. Anyways Nobody is getting Sued from my point.

I started that thread on Dave's site. I was just informing the users there that E3S was going to be shutting down soon. The guy who repsonded (Kevin) I've never met at an BayE30 drive before so I have no clue who he is. As for his comments, just a fabricated rumor I'm sure. I'm certain TJ's reasons for shutting down E3S had no legal implications behind it....and I don't feel compelled to find out whatever the real reasons are, that's TJ's business.

It looked like E3S was going to quietly sign off until that Avi guy came along and threw fuel on the fire. Don't get me started on him.

Sorry I don't have anything else on him, except that he seemed like a really nice guy. Oh yeah, and he's putting a t4 on his m20. :twisted:

If you really want a good laugh actually go to his site. There has been only 20 technical threads in the last 6 months, its exclusively the off topic forum.

Its basically the roadfly E30 lounge crowd. There is like 10 of them, they could have save the effort and setup an AIM chat room.

It shouldn't be too hard to get used to, this board operates exactly the same way that the old E3S did. It just looks better. :D

seems like a lot of the same players from E3S quickly made the migration to R3V.....

it good news, i'm glad the same community is back in action!

It could be the amount of bullshit that was being posted. Still a lot of drama going on, especially when he announced its closing.

TJ probably has his reasons as to why he shut down E3S. However, I don't feel compelled enough to find out those reasons, so I will respect his privacy and leave well enough alone. If TJ wants to share his reasons, then that's his business.

TJ did it because he could not find the time to work on the site. I mean it sucks for all of us but look from his point of view..... you seriously are not going to all this shit work and wasting time that you might not even have for the benefit of others..... as much of a good intention we all have of helping each other, we still wont sacrifice our limited time ( for those who have a lot of shit to do ) for others you know.

There could be other reasons but I'm pretty sure this is one of them. I just dont want to see people dissing him or holding anything against him because he had to give up on the site. I think that anyone that says shit about him for his actions has no idea what the hell he is talking about.
