So I was down at Les Schwab asking the monkeys to check the wheel the guys thought was bent. I was bitching about my spacers...guy tells me he has the perfect cure for my cheap-ass spacers....
They have a set of NOS Niche Pultec wheels in 17X7, 20mm offset, 4X100.
You can see them here http://www.maintires.com/wheels/niche/pultec3pctruck.html
They have a manufacture date of 12/09/99, have been mounted but are new.
Hubcentric, lugcentric...very light, like 11 pounds. Big fat polished lip, would look great with a black center but are FUGLY AS HELL IMHO.
Oh yeah...$85 each.
What do you think? My 16's have like 3500 miles on them, but should have decent resale value.

Probably amongst the worse rims I've ever seen.

didn't I say SOMETHING like 11 pounds...don't give me no shit, guys!...no one said for certain that they were that light, but I picked one up and they are far lighter than the 16's I have. www.wheelspecs.com or whatever thety are seem to be down, adn I didn't ask the monkeys at schwabs to weigh them. Probably couldn't read the scale anyway.
I agree about the Yukon thaang, yo. Ugly as hell, but to be lugcentric and hubcentric cheap and easy like that sure is tempting...plus have the shizzle fill my wheel wizzle!

what size spacers? Buy those nasty rims and I'll buy your spacers.

the spacers I have are auto part store specials...like $20 for 4, 1/4" "universal fit" JUNK spacers. Soon as FK sets the deal up with my boys in portland, I will be doing a set of theirs. They are 1/2 (or less) the price os H&R.

Bozo at Schwabbies said all good. Said he would bump my credit to cover those fugly POS things, plus get me ES100's in 215/40/17 (IIRC) for 114 each.

You are going to buy rims that you yourself think are POS and ugly? You must like pissing your money away my friend.
205/40-17 ES100's are only $89 each at Tire Rack.

yeah...I think I will just have to pass on those ugly ass wheels. I really want something that fits the car properly, but not at any cost.
No wonder they have 5 year old wheels new on the shelf, huh?
