Im going to sell my IS front lip, Zender sides, and Zender rear to make up for this. Plus i'll probably try and sell my US bumpers and moldings on ebay.UK for a little.
I need some euro bumps and a Euro valence too. pm me if ya got anything.

do you have euro bumpers?
nope but im going to be looking for a pair. Depending on the condiion of the paint (since these are already black) they are going to be repainted during the winter which gives me untill spring to find a set of bumpers.
Also im going to need to get a Euro valence if im not mistaken.

Great price and great stuff, but you may want to find out how much you are paying before you bid in a foreign currency next time..... ;)
Seriously - that stuff is going to look killer with euro bumpers!

It is gonna look sweet, especially on a black car. I have to admit I like the IS lip better than the Mtech, but the Euro bumpers will totally make up for that.
as for the price, I knew what it was around before I bid, just not the exact. It turned out it was much lower than i expected, so thats good
Did he give you a quote to ship it to the USA? My best guess is $5-700 for shipping.

ahh boy lets hope he can get the shipping down to 350 or so. Pray he is a good at packing things up .

Exactly. That, and having to deal with customs and shit. Body kit parts are huge, and will be considered 'oversized' by any shipping company. I've had experience with importing body kits and such from the UK.... it wasn't fun. If you do it by boat, it'll take a month or so, but it'll only cost you around $300 for the shipping (plus another 2-300 for a customs broker). My best guess is around a grand for FedEx.

That's why my prices are high too. Leg work to get em packed and blah blah blah.
It's not always fun.

I work in the importing industry, and have some involvement with car parts.
Here is some suggestions,
- UPS is the way to go to avoid broker fees. Those fees can get VERY expensive, expect to pay at least $150-200 flat fee just for the broker to sign some papers. This is on top of the shipping fees.
- Boat shipping will be cheapest but take the longest. I'm not positive if UPS can provide you with boat shipping or not. Only used them with Air.
- Customs will be ~3%.
- I would expect to pay under $400 for air via UPS if he can get it into the small box possible. Maybe half that for boat.
Looks like you found a nice deal there!

That's why I love Fred Air aka the C-5 customs is free and shipping across the pond is free. Just getting it to plane is a PIA lately.

So if i can get this thing on a UPS boat then it will be the cheapest? Waiting a month really wouldnt bother me

Boat is always cheaper than air. Just look at fuel costs.

the guy finnaly gave me the finnal price!
118pounds for shipping ($218)
274pounds total ($506)
506 bucks for a full mtech1 kit shipped from the Britain is a pretty damn good price.

You should get some euro bumpers from him at the same time.
How is he shipping it? Are you certain that you won't need a customs broker?

what exacly is a costoms broker? Im pretty sure he dosnt have any bumpers, he already has everything packed away anways.
Its being shipped by UPS and i think its gonna go on a boat.
Im not sure if i like the mtech side skirts. I'll have to try the zenders and the mtech to see which one I like, then i'll sell the other.
here is the info of what he sent me. Its just a exaple one, not the real one, but it will look exacly like just with different delivery dates and all

Its gonna be big no matter what. Just my airdam was $400 but that was coming by air. The difference in price between boat and air wasnt much and the time was a week versus a month and a half.

damn, why is it so cheap for my whole mtech kit then? its like $230 for the whole thing and so far he hasnt said anything about a customs broker? He must just be a good packager, he fit it all in the same box 8)
edit: or did you mean $400 total price?
You should probably find out if UPS does their own customs brokering or not. And if they do, you should find out how much it's going to be. I paid $350 for a private broker to sign about 3 pieces of paper. Of course I imported about $3000 or so worth of parts, but the declared value was around $250. (I think some of the wheels were declared at $5 each lol).

Thats a great deal. Those sell for 250-300 pounds at UK breakers.
Where do you get Euro bumpers in the US? If you are stuck there's heaps in Australia, 2nd hand should be rust free too unlike UK
You will need a Euro valance and Euro foglights - like this

I know someone in the US that will be selling a pair of bumpers pretty soon, i'll try and pick up those if he dosnt want to much.
Im pretty sure the fogs are included since its in the picture. And corect me if im wrong but dont you need the valance to mount the fogs on to, then the lip goes on top. Well in the picture it shows the fogs on, so maybe the valence is comming with it? We will see. Either way i gota good deal and euro bumpers will be no problem to get, just need a little patients

Im not 100% certain but I think the Mtec1 is complete, it holds the fog lights instead of the valance.
Now I dont know about mounting it over the valance. My euro valance had a remarkably different shape than my old US one. It came more straight down instead of sweeping back as fast as the US one did.
New bumpers can be had at Bavauto for like $800. Try Eurodepot if you want used. Also if AUS has some lying around maybe get some from there. Their $ isnt worth crap and for some reason shipping from AUS to the US is dirt cheap. I have bought a lot of stuff off Adam Hambly. I got my fogs cheaper from him new including shipping than the price the dealer shot at me and they were not even sure if they COULD get them since there were none in the US.
As for my shipping cost it was air, that might have made a difference.
