Though I would start a new thread for updated pics with racing dynamic springs installed. Def will have to order drop hats...

Oh by the way the bavauto dash cover is installed. You can see it in some of the pics.
My recommendation to anyone is the following: if your dash is completely f*cked like mine was and you don't have the time/money to put in a new dash only then do it. If not, it's not worth it. It doesn't fit right. I got it on ebay for $60 bucks brand new and I didn't have the time to change the dash now, so I went for it.

Hi, my name's Adam.
I just picked up this 1990 325i, & it's my first. The previous owner had just installed H&R Springs & bilstein dampers. It handles wonderfully.

It's a bit of a different animal for me--I come from the subaru wrx realm, but I broadened my horizons and I'm loving the ride of the e30. There is definitely a lot to learn, however. First thing I want to do is get rid of the oxidation on the trunk, & repaint the mirrors. Then maybe some swaybars...

I purchased this car 2 weeks ago and been lurking on a few forums. Seems this is one of the better bmw forums that is somewhat e30 based. Anyway here is a picture of the car after lots of heavy buffing...

this was the finished product....

halfway thru the panel the paint was bad but lots of hard work got it looking pretty good... the entire car was that color to begin with....

Well, I made a thread back in the tech forums for my bronzit 325i thinking that I needed to replace an alternator belt. It turns out that this was my problem:.
Since I know fuck all about automobiles, I decided not to get another engine and try to swap it myself. I didn't have the wallet to pay someone else to do it either, and I'd rather learn anyway. So I bought a '90 schwartz 325i off of a guy in Sacramento. Apparently, he hit a deer in it. The engine ran pretty well, but needed a new core support (and pretty much an entire new front end), and seeing as how I had everything else besides a working engine in my ton and a half paperweight, I decided to buy it. My friend's dad knows how to weld pretty well, so my plan is to cut the core support off of my bronzit and weld it onto my schwartz, swap the radiator, passenger side fender, wheels, and maybe rear seats. As it stands now, I've removed everything that needs to be cut, along with the fenders.

Rare BBS Hotness?

I recently acquired some BBS wheels that have got me thinking. I'm not sure of their rareness but I know Ive never seen them before.

Specs are:
-3-piece BBS E52s
-Magnesium centers
-16x7 et10, 16x8 et22
-recently powdered coated and cleaned up

What say ye, fellas? Anybody have any information on these things? I'm pretty sure I'm going to convert to 5-lug solely upon these wheels...

Windshield Trim repaint, cheap and easy

Decided to do some minor work to my car. The windshield trim is weathered and has the rusty color look going on. I wanted to get it back to black without spending a whole bunch of money. I started off by cleaning the trim with the bug and tar stuff. First i used the spray can then the other spray and i cleaned it over and over again until most or all the dirt came off. Here's some pics:

It's definitely not perfect, as i pulled the tape off i accidentally peeled off some of the paint along. I'll probably do a respray next week. The whole thing took about an hour and a half. But overall i'm satisfied with it. I also need to do the rear trim.
