The whole unit is ~18lbs. And yes it rattles and vibrates like a mofo. Pushing the clutch in also quiets. Doesn't sound like anything wrong with your setup, especially if you don't notice any performance...

I recall ages ago I was trying to purchase those exact mounts - both the AKG and rogue for the same reason (less vibrations). I don't recall why I didnt. Maybe they were out of stock and I was impatient....
