The rust ran the whole length of the cowl. I think I paid around $400 to have to fixed. I would not have noticed it if I didn't replace my windshield. Also I replaced it b/c I knew I was going to keep the car for awhile and I have a daily so it car just sits in the garage right now waiting for more restoration.

Hey, I just saw one of your posts about your rust you had repaired on your windshield. After searching for awhile, yours was the only one that was near what I was looking for.

I have a similar situation as yours. I am looking at a 325ic that has rust in the similar spot. It is primarily going to just be a car to run around in. The whole rust thing just scares me a little.

About how much did you pay and was your rust spot all the way through the cowl or did you only see it when you pulled the windshield.

    Thanks for your help.
