yes, if the switch isn't closed it won't go into idle mode (it only senses closed, open, and full throttle). it might also be mis-adjusted. you could test the switch with a multimeter to see if the...Leave a comment:

my springs are all stock (I still have the same Schrick 284/272). and Febi rocker arms before they got really shitty (I guess). it's just harder to get decent parts now I suppose.
