I'm stationed in Kaiserslautern, Germany and I've got myself a Diamantschwarz E30 M3.

I'm down in sunny southern spain.. I'll be moving to Stuttgart in July and shipping my vert as well. Maybe we can organise something in august when my car get there. How far are you from stuttgart?

I'm in Heidelberg until June then I will be up in your neck of the woods alex. Stuttgart is 2 Hours more or less from K-Town and 1 hour from Heidelberg.

Ja, also FYI since you are going to be in the stuttgart area. You might want to check about the pollution zone stickers for your car. Vehicle registration are being dicks when it comes to cars our age and will not grant stickers to cars that are 1992 and older. I can find out more info and shoot it to you on a pm or your email. If you have a military account I can also shoot you the links. Just shoot me a PM. I'll also send you mine if you need anything.

I haven't seen them enforce the stickers yet. Is there a way to get one for a car older than 92?

When I go back to work I can ask around, I'm an SP. I doubt the SP's/MP's are going to be enforcing that.

I read on the TUV site that if your car is older than 92 w/o catalytic converter no sticker will be given. Check it out, cause I would like to know to.

Thanx for the link, I"ll give them call to find out what qualifies for the emission sticker for my vehicle. I think I should be okay since my car is american specs and has all the emission equipment..

I'm going today to BMW and Dekra to see if they can tell me what numbers on the VIN they use for the emissions on the US Specs cars. Once I get the scoop I will pass it along and let you know the outcome.
