    My nose hurts!

Hey everyone... I decided to start a project thread on the revival of my new project. Long story short I got the car through my dad. I had purchased an e30 convertible last year, and after he had driven mine he decided he wouldnt mind having one as well. My cabrio has 215k and is in need of a few things cosmetically such as a full respray. The one he found had 94k miles garage kept its whole life pretty much mint interior.... the list goes on.

Well he ended up rear ending another car in the poor e30, and the insurance company totalled her. So for the $183 salvage fee she came to me. I am actually going to be selling my other cabrio and fixing this back to how she should be. Below are a few pics to show the condition and some new goodies as well.

    Future Plans:
    -Euro Bumpers
    -Euro Grills
    -Possibly Mtech1 front and rear
    -Yellow laminex high beam covers
    -Suspension
-front end rebuild (bushings and such)

    Pics:

    Mint Weaves

    Broken parts

    Tool Kit

Oh I also bought an awning to go over it.....

    Just kidding....

    euro bumps

I hopefully will have updates soon!

Oh and yes that is a cassette in the back seat.... haha you gotta do what you gotta do....

Has potential :) The front hit doesn't look to bad, my 89 was worse with it's top of the rad support.

Very nice. Worth the salvage title because it'll probably be yours forever. Have fun putting it back together. ;)

No longer stock ride height, rolling as low as a daily driver in New England should without worrying about breaking an oil pan.

actually there are no salvage titles on cars 7 years or older in VA.... so the title is still clear. I dont really understand it fully, I assume its because most cars 7 years or older have such low value that they can easily be totaled so they just worked it into a law.... Works out well for me though!

              Thanks Levent

Wow that is exactly the same damage that mine has, my hood sits up the same way yours does. Let me know how you go about dealing with the rad. support because I have not gotten around to fixing mine yet and I would like to know a good way of doing it.

The hood is actually fine, it is just released in the picture. The rad support is just bent in a little, the shop said they could pull it out so I am gonna have them try that first.

As a side note I recieved grills and aux fan yesterday, and ordered a set of smileys today..... Things should commence shortly.:-D

                      Quick Update:

More parts arriving every day or so. The car is sitting at the body shop awaiting its unibody straightening. Hopefully the smileys I bought will be here this week and then piece her back together will start....

                        Update:

I got the new fan, grills and headlights in. Pretty much just the valence and bumpers left. Hopefully will get the euro bumpers cleaned up and installed tomorrow.

                        Few pics.
