(non-E30 content) I'm pretty sure owning this makes me gay...

... but this is wrong, I don't want to be right.

It's some sort of moped. The previous owner spraypainted EVERYTHING black. (including the labels that tell me important things, like what all the switches do) It doesn't run. It sat for a summer. It was free.

Nobody stocks the damn spark plug it needs, argh. :hitler:

^ I dunno, that tow hook is pretty flaming.

I changed out the horrid fuel line, put in new gas, still nothing. I think I'm not getting spark, because the plug is carbon-fouled to all hell. Carb may be jammed with dirt, also.

can you get it to fire by introducing fuel directly?

i would ask the original owner who did the resto. im sure kenrika remembers what he did.

            That's a good point, I'll PM him.

I'm going to wait until January to work on it further. I had to order spark plugs on ebay (I checked three auto stores, nobody has the plug I need) so those will take a while to get in.

I'm not sure what you mean by introducing fuel into it directly - I don't think I can get much more direct than gravity-feeding it into the carb, which is how it's set up.

I posted this in the "other" forum, didn't know which you would see first.

                Yes you are gay.

Scooters are like fat chicks, fun to ride but you don't want your friends to find out.

Seriously, fix it up and have a good time and enjoy 90mpg. It looks like a Puch, I believe that that were also branded as Sears Allstates, could be wrong though. The Puch emblem btw looks like a BMW one, only green and white.

Try to crank the motor with the plug out of the engine but still attached to its harness. That should show you if it is getting spark. On something like that, though, cleaning out the carb isn't difficult and probably wouldn't hurt anyway.

And yes, that is pretty gay ;)

id shoot a very small amout of ether right in the cyl after checking to make sure you have spark. the carb could very well be gummed and clogged like ovulators sinus cavity after taking multiple loads in each nostril like a coke whore

Just drop a spare m10 in it ftw

This place is like catholic school, 2/3 of the students smoke weed on a daily basis, but the faculty seems to convince the outside world that drugs are just in the other schools, the resident pot dealer thinks he's cool because he has the originality to call anyone he doesn't like a homosexual, and most of the little children follow him like sheep, then there's the few with brains, you hardly ever hear from them, perhaps don't even know they exist, but they get all the sh!t done.
