Hello all
New to E30 but not BMW. I'm moving to the Denver metro area this summer and need to make some plans for a winter car. My DD is an E60 M5 which is an almost-year-round ride in Seattle. If we get a little snow on the ground I drive the Tahoe. In Denver I'll need a better plan since the Tahoe belongs to my wife and I can't take her car every time it snows there like I do here.
That being said, I'm looking for an AWD. I like what I've been reading about the E30 but I've seen them for sale at asking prices that are all over the radar, up to near $7k. US. Seriously. The question I pose to the membership here is:
What is a fair price for a top 20% (Exclusive of show cars, super low mileage garage queens, etc.) example of a 325iX? An enthusiast's DD perhaps. Minimal or no mods or deferred maintenance. Looking around I'm thinking I'm looking at 2-3K to acquire. Realistic?
Also, if anyone knows of one for sale hit me up.
