Any vert guys go to the track?

Ok so I really wanna take my car to the track. I know it will pass tech. Just not sure what the rules are about it being a convertible? This is the first convertible I'd be taking to a track or auto x course. Any info will help. I have tried looking on different sites have not found much.

The clubs around here allow some verts (not sure on e30) to go on the track with a hardtop, all others have to have a roll bar minimum. You need to check with the clubs in your area as to what their rules are.

Out here in So Cal it depends on the club. BMWCCA has a funky rule regarding older convertibles that did not come from the factory with roll over protection.

Other clubs allow convertibles with roll bars.

I have my convertible setup to run track events but I haven't taken it to the track. I use the convertible mainly for autocross events. I co-own a purpose built E30 track car that gets track use.

      Some details about my convertible:
