Can anyone identify this short shifter?

I would guess an early version of a UUC, but I can't say for sure. It's not the newest iteration (EVO 3 I think) though.

B&M or Ebay copy of a B&M. UUC used modified stock levers from other models (like M Coupe) when they started. I know, I have one of their original Ben Liaw kits with ERK.

I remember the short shifter discussion you had with the cashier, who could have gave a crap and just rang it up as a shifter. I saw your car when we pulled out in the parking lot and noticed the Williamson Co. tags cause my family lives there. I just traded my e30 on Thursday and got sad when I saw yours, would have kept mine if it was close to looking as good as that.

Quality control, and the fact that the company wont up and disappear in a couple of months.

Seriously, when something like this is produced in China, then the middle man will run extras and sell them himself.

Hey, bring over what ya got. I've got a full transmission test rig where you can fit any shifter. I'll bet money that the UUC is smoother, more precise, and less effort. Then we'll look at them in 10 years and see which has held up better.
