    ok quick 325e LSD question

So i'm not the most educated person in diffs and trannys, but im looking to switch to an LSD 4.10. Right now i have the 2.79 ratio and im so sure its open that i haven't bothered checking. Will the 4.10 change my RPM limit from 47##? And should i just buy a whole LSD Diff, or is there anyway to change just change the gears? PS i did some research and couldn't find my answer. What else would i need to swap/replace.

3.25 or 3.46 would be the best bet for stock eta.

No additional parts needed, just swap the rear cover and side flanges from your existing differential.

lol well the 4.10 seems a little crazy, but is the 3.73 also too crazy? It comes in the i?
and would the rear cover and flanges give my open diff limited slip? i've heard somewhere that a few more bolts are required for the flanges.

A 3.25 ratio diff is awesome for a 325e. Do not do anything shorter, trust me.

Best way to do it is swap the complete diff in. Since the 3.25 was found in 5/6 series you need to swap the rear cover and axle flanges from your current diff. Very easy to do.
