Felt a bolt fly out the other night... Now I know where it came from.

Does anyone know what the hell this piece is connecting to my exhaust in front of my subframe is? I've been searching for it and I just can't figure out how to describe it!

you can drive the car w/o that bolt. its not great but should break anything.

thats the trans brace exhaust hanger. I suggest you take care of your oil leak.

My oil pan definitely needs to be replaced.. Where else can I check for a leak by that exhaust hanger? Thanks for the info!

Your trans rear seal might be leaking too.

That missing bolt is the least of your problems.

Cool, thanks for the info. I'm just getting a check list so I can start reading up on what I need to fix.

Start by going to the car wash with some ramps or a jack and a pocket full of quarters.
Get the front end up and blast everyhting underneath from the from the front all the way to the back of the trans.
Then you can see what going on plus it will be a hell of a lot nicer to work on.
