Thinking about doing this swap into my 318...I've read a ton but have not seen a single mention of Air Conditioning....Im not even going to consider this with out it
Anyone with the swap have it? Is it as simple as using the stock m60 compressor with its lines mated to the e30 lines (like the 24v swap). Im loving this swap (seems way more economical/easier to avoid wife anger than the LS1).
Also, when using the spacers/mounts from Germany, how much additional fab work is there really? With the 5 speed, it seems like all that has to be done is the linkage (cut/shorten) and brake booster (crazy extension arms or even crazier hydro boost setups). Oil pan clears it seems. Wiring even seems as simple/comparable to the 24v...
