ABS not working a one wheel

I tested all sensors and just got a used ecu since some burnt contacts in it. On the test drive I was doing some panic stops and everything was working great. But, after 3 or so stops for some reason the left front wheel is locking up, but every other wheel is functioning normally. I even found a road with a soft shoulder so I could have one side of the car on asphalt and the other side on gravel/dirt to confirm this. The ABS light does not come on like there is something wrong on the ecu at anytime....just when you first star the car and then goes out.

I see in the diagram the are solonoids for each wheel in the pump housing? Im guessing these aren't serviceable? Any other ideas?

    is it a E34,,

i had the same problem,, i think on one of the ABS sensors (they are magnetic) and there is probably,, a small metal thing suck on it.. take every wheel off,, and spray inside from behind the brake-disc cover.. you can see there is a small room,, with brake-cleaner and also use compressed air to clean away,, i am almost positive that the metalchip will be blown away,, on E32 and E34 ,, there is almost never a problem with the ABS sensors,,

the other thing is that a bad bearing can occur this behaviour..

      Its actually an e28.

But I figured that if I was getting a bad signal from a sensor the light would have come on. But I will check it again none the less.
