    Borbet Type A Centrebore

I've tried searching everywhere and found results from 57.1 to 72.mm, I just bought a set of 16x75. et20 4x100 Borbet type A's and I'm just wondering what the centrebore of the wheels are for centering rings, I know the E30s are 57.1. Just can't find a solid answer for the Borbets. Also would I be able to use the stock lugs with these or do I need to get different ones?

I just searched for information on this myself. I bought a set of Type Cs from a fellow forum member and needed to source rings. I was hoping to find a listing of the various center bores that (my) Borbets came in so I could compare what I thought was my size and pick the closest actual one. But I never found such a list.

I ended up going over to a friend's house who has a caliper gauge and measuring the metal centering ring that came in one of the wheels (only two had them). The design of the gauge - at least the one he has - makes it impossible to measure the actual center bore. We had to source the rings on ebay.co.uk because no one in the US showed the size we determined I needed. They call them "spigot rings" there BTW.

    Here's what I bought: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/310543615011/

Still curious if I can use my stock lug nuts thought. I think there the seated type the PO said, if that sounds correct.

Unless the wheel being used specifies use of a ball seat, it's my understanding that conical seat bolts/lugs should always be used on BMWs.

Just an update if anyone ever reads this thread again, these hub centric rings worked perfectly, they were the right size for the Borbet A's and fit on the E30 correctly. I would recommend ordering them if unable to find other rings.
