Any EMS/ FD peeps in R3V?

I have finished all my course work and getting the last of my ALS calls needed to take the NREMT-P. so I thought I'd check to see if anybody else here did the same.
Most of what I seen here in RVA is the guys are into pick me trucks, not little bimmers
I love that people ask stupid questions so I dont have.

I'm a 3rd generation volunteer with 13 years experience. Buts in Canada and way different. Our EMS is full time. The entire county is volunteer fire department with 12 stations and 300+ firefighters. All training and schooling is done in house.

Nice, I plan to volunteer as well when I test. In my area we do have a full paid FD/EMS staff, but several stations also have volunteer for EMS only to cover the numerous holes.

I was a volunteer firefighter for a few years, also volunteered with the EMS service that we operated. There was a time when I wanted to pursue becoming a paramedic in college but eventually I took a leave of absence from the fire department and then resigned to go to school fulltime.
Where I live on Long Island, most of the fire departments are volunteer.

I thought Washington State is the 1 state that does not accept NrEMt bc their own state test is so much more rigorous?
Either way congrats on the test and good luck.

When I started the medic program it was partially because my wife and I thought we would be moving to Sac for her job. Unfortunately its not looking like the move is going to happen, but I remember Sac had a good program.
