Diff for a Torquey ETA Build

I'm looking at two different differential options for an ETA build I have going. The engine will have a good amount of useable low end torque and spin up to 6k.

I'm looking into a diff in the 3.2Xs or the 3.4Xs.

My understanding is that the 3.4Xs would be more aggressive around town (which is what I'm looking for) but what about on the highway? Also with the 3.2Xs what would my acceleration be like, I've never been in an ETA with one.

Just looking for some insight as I won't have the opportunity to try them out before I go with one.

    Thanks

I think the 3.23 or 3.25 LSD would be the best choice.

are you using a 5 speed or a 6 speed?

with my 2700cc 10.5:1 M20b27+ e46 euro 320D 6mt gearboxc the original ETA 2.93 was actually quite good. I tried 3.07, 3.15, 3.23 and liked 3.23 the best as it felt just right for some reason.

The euro 320d gearbox has very short 1/2/3 ratios and fits the engine characteristic quite well IMO for Daily use and for HPDE/fun use.

      Here is a 4th gear dyno pull with 6mt + 3.23 installed (7k redline)
