    G240 Input shaft bearing

Well tonight my input shaft bearing went. Was playing around on the highway, pulled off and it was quite loud. It sounds exactly like this
My question is a. has anyone drove their car with it like this for awhile? am i in immeadiate danger of getting stranded? and b. has anyone changed the isb? between me and my friends we have the tools and capability, just wanna know if it can be done at home given proper bearing pullers.

Are you sure that's coming from the transmission?

99% sure, it goes away with the clutch pressed in.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but old G260s and 240s are known to rattle after a good life long lived.. I know the G260 I swapped in rattles a bit, but not nearly as loud as in the video; goes away with the clutch pressed in as well.

I wouldn't count out your throw out bearing though; my fiend's e36 M3 rattled like crazy and after we changed the throw-out bearing, it was silent

I guess it is just the getrag rattle, i thought it was more exclusive to 260's. I may tear into it, if i do, i'll make a write up, as i haven't found any.
