    325es exhaust diameter

Hello everyone! To start off let me apologize if I happen to post this question in the wrong place, I am still getting used to this forum stuff. I would also like to apologize if the question I'm about to ask has already been answered a million times. I have a 325es and I am looking into a new muffler, right now I have a flowmaster and it sounds alright but I'm looking for one that is a little louder, deeper, and better sounding. I've looked all over and on many different forums about the different kinds but before I finally decide on a brand, my question is, is the piping size on my 325es the same as the 325e or even the 325i/is? And whether or not it is, what size would I need for my 325es, and would I need things like the Y pipe and if so the size for that? Thanks everyone!

The 325/325e/325eS all use the same exhaust system. It's single pipe.

If you're looking to do new piping I'd stick with 2.25" on an Eta.

I find this muffler to sound real nice. It's what I'm going to run later on.

So if I wanted to stick with my stock piping I would want to get a 2.25" muffler? Sorry if it's an obvious answer, I just wanna make sure I don't end up getting the wrong size then having to deal with all that.

i would measure what you have. stock is probably 2". dont have a vernier caliper? use a piece of string and google the formula to figure out circumference.
