    1.7 question

I have several Bimmers, currently have a 1983 528E 5 speed that I am scrapping out. I also recently purchased a 89 M20 from a 325. I really miss the 5 speed, wanting to do a 5 speed conversion on my 89 325I daily driver. Can I use the 83 block and the 89 885 head to make the 2.7?

No worries, just helping ya out.

Also, is it just the 82, or 83 also, that has the removable bellhousing, MR 325 here was looking for one recently if I recall correctly.

If it does, don't toss it with the part-out, it's worth some $'s.

Yes you can use the 885 head on the Eta bottom end. Plenty of info here on R3V about this.

              I already found a bellhousing Farbi-poo.
