Starts but will not keep running after head gasket change

    Hello,

After changing head gasket and couple of other gaskets (exhaust, intake, flanges) of my M40B18 engine it starts but will not keep running if I don't hold my foot on the accelerator pedal. I done the timing using 8mm bolt put in the gearbox hole to set TDC and the camshaft was rotated so that square end with two dots would be parallel with head surface. I noticed that it wasn't super parallel but putting one teeth forward or backward seems worse. Except putting one teeth forward (if I'm remember correctly) looks similar to current position of the camshaft (won't tried to start the car when belt was like that). Could one teeth make impact on car not running? Also checked for vacuum leaks but none were found. There shouldn't be something wrong with the fuel system because I have LPG system installed and same symptoms appear when I change to LPG. Before the repairs car started and run just fine. The engine head is other though but with new valve seals, grind valves. Also when the head was off I was making repairs with mirrors and central locking wiring at driver's side under speaker cover and some wires were left without going anywhere. Do wires from ECU or other crucial component goes, connects at that point? Your thought are welcome. Thanks.

The odds are that you have intake leaks. You'll need to have a smoke test run to find them.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
