That's actually the horn attached to the OBC. It goes off if the incorrect code is entered three(?) times. The regular horn (or horns, depending on year) is more trumpet-shaped and made of black plastic.Interested in vintage cars? Ever thought about racing one? He has a functional horn. That horn is only related to the On Board Computer as stated earlier in the post and is only needed to beep once someone attempts entering an incorrect code on the On Board Computer. There is a way to lock the ignition circuit from the OBC and once locked then someone cannot start the car. The only way to start the car is to enter the CORRECT code. If someone trys 3 times and fails. That horn pictured starts to go nuts.
You can leave it disconnected without any ill effects.
