m20 hard fuel line part # ??

    m20 hard fuel line part # ??

    Trying to replace my hard fuel line and cant figure out which part number I need. I only see one hard line on my car and on bmwparts, there is a part number for a feed and return line? I dont see the return line, where is it?

    they run side by side so im not sure why you can't see it in your car? follow the pressure reg end of the fuel line back along the engine bay and you'll find your return line.

      I see one fuel line to the very left and the brake lines to the right?

        Did you even bother to do what I told you above?

        I cant remember what the far left line is for, but you have two fuel lines staring you right in the face. The smaller (3/16) of the 3 pipes is the brake line, there is only one hard line going to the rear brakes. The larger two lines are the fuel feed and fuel return. If you do what I said above you'll be able to tell which is which as the hard line that connects to the fuel regulator is the return line. From memory the return is the longer of the two, but im pretty sure it has the lengths listed in the EPC.

          The far left line is the evaporative emission control line that carries the vapors from the fuel tank to the charcoal canister in the engine bay.

            Yup, this on the Fuel Supply > Ventilation diagram on RealOEM. PN for my car is 16131177466 but yours may be different.
