Harassed by race car cop

Not normally one to screw around or "race" or any of that shit because it does not belong on the streets but I feel like this needs to be shared. Idk if anyone has experience with something like this before but essentially it was around 10:30 and I've been working since 8am finally on my way home from work and I'm driving in my e38 down a very bumpy road, next to me is another car doing a little over the speed limit and I'm doing about 35-38 tops pretty slow for the road but in a lowered car way too fast for the bumps. Well I'm driving along and a guy in a brand new camaro thing flys up behind the guy next to me, who is just about even with me. He rides very very close to the guys bumper for maybe a Min or so and then quickly darts into my lane and does the same to me, so I get past the van and move over to let him go by me, he follows my lane change and continues to ride very close. After a few mins I'm starting to get a little aggravated but he then proceeds to drop a gear and fly by me and cuts me off barely missing my bumper. Unfortuanlty my loss of patients got the best of me and I caught up to him and passed him going much quicker than I should, he was also attempting to "race" or what ever the fuck he's doing until we get to a light where he is now behind me. So I strat driving and he speeds up from behind me and gets next to me at another light pulls a badge out and ask me what my hurry was, so I asked him what his was and he replied "I'm going to a state police investigation" he then spun tire and cut me off and turned into our local DMV.

There are cops that will try to instigate a street race with you, the one jurisdiction near my old place had an undercover Mustang and Ram that they would try to instigate street races with and then bust you when you take the bait. It's kinda fucked but that's how the police do business

But...I've experienced unmarked cars enticing others to "speed" only to radio the cop car on the next on ramp to give speeding tickets.
