    Parts required for rear bearing/bushings

I was wondering what extra parts ill need to complete the job correctly. Let me know.

    - 2X axle nuts
    - 2X axle nut lock plates
    - 2X wheel bearing circlip (if you feel like it)
    - rear brake lines (there should be 4 soft hoses) <-- I'd recommend doing this because it;s a BITCH with the subframe in the car.

That's all I can think of.

Get an alignment to see if you need to install adj. rtab.

Convert to diff studs while you're at it. Also, in addition to the brake softlines I'd do the hardlines too - chances are after 20+ years the coated lines have finally started to rust/corrode.

They're stuck in there real good. You'll need snap ring pliers to get the clip out and a press (or a wheel bearing tool) to get em out/in

I bought these to make it easy. You don't *need* them, as you can fashion your own pullers with the right size pieces of metal/threaded rod/bolts. But if you're looking for the lazy man's way out:

For removing the bearing/outer race from the trailing arm:

Harbor Freight buys their top quality tools from the same factories that supply our competitors. We cut out the middleman and pass the savings to you!

For removing the inner race that will be stuck to the flange:

Amazing deals on this Bearing Separator And Puller Set at Harbor Freight. Quality tools & low prices.

The HF bearing puller makes it easy, but the threaded rod it comes with is junk. After you get it, take it to Lowes/HD/a hardware store and buy a real piece of threaded rod about the same size (and a few nuts to match). Use an impact gun if you have one.

These links are 404 not found. Could someone confirm that one or both of these are the right tools?

I use this for a lot of different jobs too. Pulls the rear bearings super easy.

Thanks, RainRider. Which parts of this set do you use for the rear bearings?

                            Watch this video. https://youtu.be/D4PK1jXhppE
If you have a dremel tool with a cutoff wheel you won't need the bearing splitter tool. Just cut the bearing race enough to whack it with a chisel in the cut. You'll see.
