If you donno what I mean, you donno.

Checking the values on Autologic I'm all WTFLOLBBQSRSLY.

    This system is stupid.

I have values for the thing, but wanna know if I'm talking to anyone who will understand what I'm saying first.

DPF's are stupid as is Urea injection. Just plain fucking stupid. No expierance with mercs set on their shit, but plenty with what they put on the Dodge's and with GM's set up....

Thinking about removing the DPF and coding out the EGR on my 335d. The first round of cleaning the dreaded carbon build up was on BMW. They took so long I got a platinum extended warranty out of it. Still not interested in waiting for it to happen again.

Let's keep the air clean by burning more fuel......

What tech would you rather see for soot management? And if not SCR, then what?

What problems are you having, specifically what codes?

                          Haha, wreck away.

Bascially here is teh data I get from Autologic:

                          Ash content: 0g
                          Load state filter: 109.89%
                          Exhaust back pressure: 959hPa (139psi)
                          Differential pressure: 8hPa (.116psi)

Car has about 133k on it. Code was P2078-008 - Pressure differential sensor for DPF plausibility.

Dude says it has some lag when punching it at highway speeds, such as to pass someone. Reading up it looks as if that code will come on when the DPF is clogged. NoData confirms that, along with listing symptoms that correlate to what we've got here.

Any use trying to clean the thing with a pressure washer? Looks like it works well in the interwebs.

On that note, fuck these things. I wish it was my car so I could just gut the fucker.

This may sounds nuts but check the air filters. They are fucking tiny and clog really quickly 20k or less and have caused me crazy codes before. I would also check for an update as mb tends fuck up the program a few times before they get it right. If you clean out the dpf I would throw and new sensor in there too, just to be safe.

Got a new sensor for it. Haven't been able to drive it. Went ahead and cleaned the DPF. A ton of soot came out, along with little columns of ash.

                              Will check the air filters.

Need to force a regeneration, but can't manually with Autologic....guess we'll just drive it down the highway in a lower gear.
