Trying to get my trunk open. Help please!

So my trunk latch is junk. It needs to be fiddled with to get it to work. Also doesn't help that I left the key where the trunk gasket goes. Then i proceeded to close the trunk with the key still there, realizing this as soon as its shut. Does anyone know of a way to get it open from inside? I already took out the ski pass piece. -Andrew

Yup. but from inside the back seat you will need about 3' of extensions, a 10mm socket, and a flashlight to get to the bolts.
Or you could break out a tail light and reach in with same ratchet sans extensions.
Or you could search this topic as it comes up.....oh.....i'd say almost monthly.

This but in reverse. Should work fine.

I had this happen earlier this month when my idiot friend locked my keys in my trunk. If you have access through the ski pass you should try what was mentioned above to remove the trunk lock. I have mint early taillights and was about to drive 1200 miles so busting a taillight wasnt an option. I drilled out the lock and bought another one for $20 after I got home
