What to do?? Cirrusblau vs. Nerzbraun vs. Zobelbraun??

    Hi R3v'ers.
    I'm in quite a dilemma.
I've bought a 318i in super condition, it's original color is Cirrusblau, and it's an early model.
The reason I bought it, is that the shell I was using for my AC Schnitzer 2 door project is done..
This project includes late model bumpers and AC Schnitzer kit, Startec taillights and Recaro seats, so I want a color that fits a late model and the Startecs.
I first decided to paint it Zobelbraun or Nerzbraun, but after seeing some really nice Cirrusblaus, I'm in doubt.
    So what would you do??
I have 3 colors to choose from.

    1. Nerzbraun.

    2. Zobelbraun.

    3. the original Cirrusblau.

Keep it Cirrus. Uncommon color, way nicer than brown. The more you have it, the more it'll grow on you.

well, here in the usa, i don't think any of those colors were used on a late model car if that is truly important to you. looks like the paint on that thing is in pretty damn good shape. if i were you, i would leave it the way it is. unless you spend about 5k on a respray, a color change will never be as good as the original.

It is in really good shape, no scratches or dents.
But I'll have to get hood, trunklid and doors painted, as I bought it without thoose, and will have to use my own from my other shell.
So it's almost a full respray anyways.

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

ZobelBraun is probably my all time favorite E30 color, but if there is any doubt at all, keep it the original color. CirrusBlau is great, anyway.
