Failed smog, high HC and NOx? Code for knock sensors? M50tu

Burns some oil, but not enough to leave residue on the bumper, like a puff on start-up. 92c thermostat. Guy said I threw a code for knock sensors, mentioned a two digit code, where'd he get this from? Thought stomp test only gives out 4 digit codes. He didn't warm up the cats either.

Just did a stomp test and I don't get 1444, I get a long on, long pause, short on, long pause, long on? Keeps repeating, wth is this?

Could I have ruined the converter by running too lean? My IAC had popped off and I drove it to the shop misfiring, barely made it. It was smoking white and the coolant temp never went over half. Didn't smell like coolant or eggs, but the cat was crazy hot.

looks like a lean miss and pre-ignition. With bad cat CO would be high also. Two digit code would show up on a scanner in HEX code.

Is it strange that it didn't show up on a stomp test? Any advice on what to look into? Have only used Chevron 91 and red line sl1 once a month for the last 4 months. Only thing not stock when I had it smogged was a 92c vs 88c. Sheduled another appt Monday morning in Livermore.

Knock sensor faults can cause retarted ing timing which can cause EGT's to skyrocket....

Lol damn it, I changed EVERY sensor except for knock when I had the motor out. Have another appt Monday at a different location. Going to run some e85 and make sure they warm up the car this time. Douche threw it up on the dyno after an hour of sitting cold, then had a newbie do the smog test, damn near floored it from 15-25.

Do you know if the engine is actually healthy?

İ.e. leak it down with leak down tester kit

Motor might just be old and tired and burning oil
            OBD1 M54/M52TU swap as a M50b25

Z4 non powered steering rack fits e30

            Euro e46 2005/6 320d 6mt gearbox into E30 with M20 hardy and beck 1985 327s engine

I don't know for sure, will give it a test Monday. It feels healthy though, my cousins m54b25 feels much better under 3k rpm so I think my vanos is shot.

Just mixed in 3 gallons of e85 with 4 gallons of 91, running E42 now, no problems at all. Bashed it a bit to see if I could get a code and nada, lost some power though, like going back to a stock tune. Will post results tomorrow, here's a nice calculator I found:
