SOLD 1989 325i Super Clean Delphin Sedan, 87K miles tasteful upgrades

    *****SOLD*****

Posting for a fellow friend and BMWCCA Member:

    1989 325i sedan
    Delphin Grey Metallic
    Black interior over grey carpet
    87,000 miles
    Clean title in hand

Exceptionally clean and well preserved e30. This beautiful e30 has Bilstein Sport shocks, H&R sport springs, suspension bushings. sway bar end links, new shock mounts f&r. Brand new Kumhos are wrapped around the TRM 15" lightweight wheels. 1989 was the best year for e30's, no airbag, light weight kick panel, US ellipsoid Headlights (original), m20b25 168hp "i" engine, and face lifted with plastic bumpers.

    Disclaimer:
This car has an automatic. I know this is R3v and many of you are dead set on finding a 5 speed, it is an easy and relatively inexpensive swap. It is easier and cheaper to buy this car in exceptional condition and lightly driven with an auto and perform a swap than buy a thrashed 5 speed e30 and fix EVERYTHING else. To top it off you will stuck with a higher mileage example. You will not find a comparable car in this condition, maintenance history or mileage at this price in a 5 speed. It is unnecessary to whine about the transmission in the comments, I'm sure you can find plenty of nice things to say about the car instead. If you swap the car you will end up with new clutch and shifter bushings which usually need replacing on most e30's anyways.

Gray exterior w/ perfect flawless interior. Perfect dash. Perfect black vinyl comfort seats. Carpet pads covered w/ plastic since new. My friend bought from his uncle in late 2009 (~56k miles). I bought it from him at 69k miles in 2012. California car. Car was kept in garage since day 1, until my ownership. Manual sunroof. Automatic -- never abused. If a 5 speed is desired it is an easy swap at reasonable cost. Enthusiast owned. Following work down under my ownership by either Edge Motorworks or by myself:

    ~56k miles:
-water pump (pump, gasket, all hoses)
    -timing belt
    -cam seal
    -valve adjustment
    -breather hose
    -transmission filter & fluid
    -differential R&R & reseal
    -air filter
    -spark plugs
    -air intake boot
    -exhaust hanger
    -fuel filter
-Bilstein sport shocks (front & rear)
-H&R sport springs (front & rear)
-heavy duty shock mounts (front & rear)

    ~63k miles:
    -15x7 TRMotorsport C1 lightweight rims

    ~65k miles
-heavy duty front sway bar links
    -drive belts

    ~68k miles:
    -4 brake rotors
-4 sets of PBR brake pads (low dust)
    -brake sensors (front & rear)
    -brake fluid flush
    -Powerflex urethane LCAB

    ~80k
-Chrome window trim professionally shadow lined.

    ~87k
    -New Kumho 195/55r15
    -New left rear wheel bearing
    -New trunk roundel
-New radio with Aux and red backlight

    Flaws:
-rear right window regulator not working (hasn't been a priority of mine to fix)
-1980's trip "computer" display flashes erratically, was planning on replacing it w/ euro analog clock
-clear coat on some portions of the left side of car, trunk, roof is thin upon close inspection but still shows extremely well.
-windshield has hairline crack in bottom passenger corner in half circle from seal 3" out and curving back dead ending in seal. It does not affect visibility nor will it spread.
-antenna will not fully retract, a new mast may be included
-small crack in passenger fog light.
~0.5" scratch on passenger rear door fixed with touch up paint
    -Single tiny dent on hood.

No Rust can be found anywhere on this body. A true dry California car. This car drives exceptionally well and the modifications are tasteful and compliment the car well. Aside from the subtle modifications any enthusiast would appreciate the originality of the car is excellent and draws many compliments. If you are looking for an exceptional low mileage e30 this is the one.

Your car, sir, is gorgeous. I don't care what transmission it has. This has to be one of the best-looking sedans I've seen in a long time. GLWS

Nice car, wish I had seen it sooner. For future reference having a vin helps folks do their homework and not fill your PM box. As many of the photos are dark making for tough to see details.
