    Toothed flywheel

Running the 325E bottom end with the "I" head, and wiring harness, will I need the toothed flywheel from the "I" motor and will I still run the CPS and reference sensor on the "E" transmission?

    Thanks

You'll have better luck searching "harmonic balancer" when your cruising the classifieds. And IIRC there was a free one in an m20 part out thread recently

Are you talking about the timing gear for the hall or VR sensor on the front of the motor? Flywheel is in the back.

Flywheel wise it has more to do with the starter, I have a seta I swapped motor that I'll be running an e36 sized flywheel with a m50 starter.

Now.....if this is for the timing gear, it depends on what ecu you're running.

Ummmmm, pulling head out of ass, yes, harmonic balancer/toothy sensor disc..... That's why I prefer to drive vs. wrench.

They can be depending on how you set stuff up. pretty sure whodwho has all his stuff ready to rock so you want to go off of what he recommends. There are different types of trigger wheels you can use for aftermarket applications, diyautotune sells a few. it's all in the programming.

whodwho took out the guess work, real pnp, you just have to play in his parameters.

The megasquirt needs a missing tooth/teeth type of setup like the toothed front balancer on M20B25 which is 60-2.

I'm pretty sure the toothed flywheels don't have missing teeth which is why they have a second reference sensor but i could be wrong. If i'm wrong and the flywheel does have a missing tooth arrangement that is supported by the MS then you should be able to use it.

Did you go the pnp from them for the bosch 55 pin connector?
