    Bagged E30 from Australia

Ended up buying myself another e30 for a daily (previous daily was an e30 and weekender is an S50 E30....):

200k km 1990 318i Auto (freshly rebuilt M40 by PO)

When I got it the thing was the cleanest e30 I have ever seen - every piece of trim was intact, everything works - the only thing it needed was new engine mounts which I did along with a small amount of spacers. I managed to get the pan pretty close to level with the subframe.

Once this was all done, it was time to install the Airlift Performance Series kit that had just recently arrived.

Didnt take any pics while installing but here is the first shot after rolling out of the garage:

    Few more shots:

As it is, the front tyres are sitting on the upper of the guards, need to grind the seam away for another 10mm or so drop.

Just need to roll guards and then its time for wheels!

Put my wheels on today after some fender rolling:

            Work Meister M1R 16x8 +5 16x9 +5

Rear bags still have 20psi in them when the fender rests on the lip of the wheel, mainly at the back due to the bulk toe in from semi trailing arm setup. Will roll them a bit more tomorrow and see how much lower I can get it :)

I think it looks great the way it sits. Please don't make the rear tuck and look saggy. Reverse rake looks horrible. Especially on late models.

Here is what the final result of rear rolling is:

Still have about 8-10mm of seam in upper guard to grind away so should bring the front down a little more.

Ill roll with the tiny rear tuck for now, if I want to get rid of the tuck all I need to do is go to a 215/40 rear and the inner fender will rest on the tyre slightly earlier...

Fantastic color! I agree with e30abe89, the shot you had in post #6 had the best overall front/rear balance.

215/40 rears going on this weekend, will lift the back up about 10mm aired out as the guard will rest on it sooner than the 205/40. Then going to put the 205/40s on the front instead of the 195/45. Should give me the look of pic in post 6 and have a the tyres look more even (currently the rears have a shitload more stretch than the front and it looks silly in person)
