hello,
I'm new to r3vlimited, however this site has helped me tackle the infamous m50 swap into my 88 325e.
with the swap complete the engine starts. however i believe the MAF is bad. when i its plugged in, the car runs very badly, barely idles and eventually shuts off. when i unplug the MAF it runs far better. when i throttle up the car stumbles a bit, but again runs better with the MAF unplugged.
im using a 92 engine harness, with a 402 red label DME. I have no codes when i use the Peake research tool unless the MAF is unplugged. in the picture i provided it looks like there is a terminal actually missing on the harness side of the MAF plug. IDK if this is normal or has anything to do with the car running badly when the MAF is plugged in.
my question is.. is anyone elses harness side of the MAF plug missing a terminal??
thanks again!
