    New to me 1990 325is

I have always wanted a nice project, to completely rebuild just about every part of a car. And I always wanted it to be an e30, especially since we had an M3 as a kid (wish it was never sold!!). Anyway after years of waiting and the occasional searching I finally bought one today! Well that is it was an early wedding gift from my soon to be wife. Very lucky she loves cars as much as I do!

So the good, paint is actually pretty good, transmission is strong (although its an auto which is going anyway), interior is fairly decent and it runs and drives.

The bad, the exhaust is shot sounds like a very loud lawnmower. Steering is a bit loose (handles well still though), several things dont work, odometer, radio (works but they took the amp out so its not connected to the speakers), left windows doesnt work, sunroof sticks, there is a clip broken on the trunk latch so it is loose and the trunk stays up a bit when it closes and various other things that I havent really had time to check yet. Mostly all of that doesnt matter since I will be rebuilding and an engine swap anyway.

Either way I am happy to be back in the family and cant wait to get started!!

Here are a few pics, and one hanging with my E38.

Thanks, there is a lot of work to be done but compared to working on the E38 and E93 its pretty simple. My favorite car to work on was the E46 I had, but I think this one will replace that easy!
