    First e30, 4 door m42

Well I picked the car up early March. it was not the best looking but it is mechanically sound. 270xxx miles. Owned by a mechanic for 6 years, gave me a folder slap full of replaced and upgraded parts, i was more than happy.
    91 318i
    M42
    3.73 lsd
    bilstein sports
    H&R sport springs

    within the last 5 years
    new:
    Driveshaft
    Clutch kit conversion
    Fuel pump
    Auxiliary fan
    Muffler
    Alternator
    Waterpump
    Radiator
    cruise control
    transplanted interior

I sourced some 15x7 et35 borbet type t locally for $300, need some tlc

when I first picked her up

First problem I ran into was the offset of the wheels
didn't clear the front strut on the right

Went to a friends house and figured out it was the balancing weights on the inner lip, popped em off, good to go, though I knew spacers were a first to do.

    love the wheel

Went to Korman open house... my car was looking way too rough for it lol, but it was fun

Went outside one morning to warm up the car, flat tire (they were all pretty bad since some ricer kid had them with terrible camber wear)

new tires and balancing did wonders for the drive
    little fishing trip shot
    filterness

Got 15mm rear spacers and 10mm for the front... the lugs for the front came in the wrong size so they aren't on yet.
    Also retrofitted a rhino lip

picked up some splash guards locally
still looking for some rear that arent $90
and here's how she sits now, havent thought of a good name for her.

Got e90 drop hats from IE otw and a skid plate from bavauto, i dont plan on going too low with these roads around here but it's just a precaution.

I figure it's a good time to get some snowboard gear since it's off season so a rack and such is in the future.
also have a buddy in germany who's sending me euro grills and front plate.
when he gets back later this year there might be some m/s52 swap action going on :D

Hmm, that's pretty similar to my 4.10 (stock).

              Interesting.

I'm in the same boat - not sure if I want to keep the M42 and get every last ounce out of it, or put something slightly crazy in there. Car looks pretty sweet. I wish I had made it to Korman.

little update, roof rack came in, along with extended lugs for my 10mm spacers, they're on the front 15mm in the back, i like it considering the original offset was +35
                          she's gonna be a mountain-goer for snowboard season :)
                          PBR on the roof ;)
