    FS/FT 91 325i 5 Speed 2.7i

Its officially official. I have gone back and forth quite a bit on on this and decided this is the right path. Let me know if you have any questions.

    Hello Everyone,

For sale/trade is my 4dr 1991 Bmw 325i. Before we get started, please understand that, with the exception of the stereo, this was mainly built as a purpose driven car. It has all the makings of a great little track starter. Drop over 100 lbs from the stereo and you have yourself a pretty nice weekend warrior, in my opinion. The way this car is set up will not please everyone and may have some people scratching their heads, however its exactly how we wanted it.

I bought this car originally a little over a year ago from my father. My father owned it since May of 2006 with 82,500 miles on it. He will be chiming in and helping me answer some of the questions you may have as he did most of the work.

    On to the car.

    Year: 1991
    Make: BMW
    Model: 325i

    Car currently has 268xxx miles.
--It does have a salvaged title. You will see in the pictures as to why. Luckily when the guy hit the car, he hit it perfectly square. I have been quoted about $600.00 to get it pulled and repaired by a reputable shop. I already have two awesome looking tail lights to replace the broken ones. Silver lining here is that you are able to see exactly why the salvage title.

    Motor/Transmission

-The current motor that is in it is a 2.7i. 2.7l bottom end with the 885 head. I got the motor from another member on a local forum. Tuned using the SSSquid chip with 19lb injectors and M30 MAF (currently the car has the stock M20, but I have the correct M30 one for it.) Current motor has roughly 8000 miles on it.
    -Euro 323 Flywheel
    -exhaust is stock
-I also replaced the rubber shifter bushing with a brass one for a better shifting experience

    --Suspension/ Maintenance/Upgrade

-192,400 miles-Replaced control arms and bushings, sway bar bushings
-In March of 2010 replaced front hubs and added studs
-Dec 2010 Solid Subframe mounts with Delrin Differential mount
-The Driveshaft was rebuilt at 190,800 miles, along with new 3.46 LSD, subframe and trailing arm bushings, wheel bearing and new sway bar end links
-H&R sport spring with Bilstein shocks/struts and Rogue RSM’s.
-E36 Manual steering rack (no powersteering)

    Wheels/Brakes

    -Kosei K4R wheels 16x7
    -15mm H&R Front spacers
    -18mm 8380 Rear Spacers
    -Massive e30 Race setup

    Fronts--http://www.massivebrakes.com/brake-systems.php?p=e30_front_300x32mm

    It stops.

    Exterior

    Yes it could be better
    -Paint is faded
I was going to have it painted after pulling the rear end out but never did get around to doing it. Once its painted it will look great again
    -Needs new windshield

    Interior

    -CUP HOLDERS
-Damn near a crack free dash. There is a small crack <1" on the passenger side.
    -BMW floor mats
    -E28 Steering wheel
    -Sport seats
    -Crank sunroof
-BMW Performance Aluminum/Leather weighted shift knob
    -Z3 Short Shifter
    -Custom made bronze ertmje'rt'wer
-Door panels are not stock. I have panels for all the doors even though they are not installed in the pics. They were fiberglassed to be one even piece of board. We liked the idea of the strap and handle from the old Porsche. The backseat is clearly not stock. Pictures don’t do this justice, as the time my father spent doing this doesn’t show. All the wood is angled/curved perfectly to fit all the grooves. There are absolutely no rattles or shakes within the system. The best part about this is that everything was left perfectly intact if you ever wanted to put the rear seats back in. Nothing has been cut/bent/mangled to get this to work.

The car does have all the AC components but there is a line that is frayed that needs replacing.

I have done my vert best to be as honest with this ad as possible. I love the car. Its just time to do something different.

Price:--I am asking for $2500.00 with no stereo.
    Still accepting trades

I also have an S52 crank and spare block that was decked and cleaned up I can work into the deal.

Thank you for taking the time to look, read, and consider my ad. I know it will go to a good home here. I dont want to post it locally on CL because I know what will happen to it. :(. If you have a trade offer please feel free to message me and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks again!

I'm dad. I spent a lot of time in and under this car, if you have any specific questions just ask and I'm pretty sure I can answer it.

Just a few things to expand on the ad.

Mileage is in excess of what is stated, as the cluster was replaced before I bought the car. It was disclosed to me and I still have the Carfax report I pulled when I bought it. I don't know that I ever mentioned that to JD. It's a very clean little car, originally from California and brought to Arizona. At one time I had the underside scrubbed perfectly clean, and I'm pretty sure it will be easy to touch up. No accidents until the drunk hit me, it was totalled by insurance and I bought it back. The car drives very well and I checked for dog tracking, it tracks straight.

The solid rear sub mounts are Massive welded mounts, It is a huge improvement in making the car feel more solid, but the penalty is increased noise transmission. Ride is still very good though. Pretty sure a spare rear subframe could be included in the deal. For a track car the solid set up is what you want.

The driveshaft was rebuilt professionally by a shop in San Diego.

It's a solid little car and a lot has been done to make it a great track car. It's done laps at Willow Springs and Buttonwillow and never let me down!

I would hate to part this out but I have had a few people say they want parts off of it. I would want most of the things taken before I considered it.

Man, if you spent the $600 to get that fixed you could probably get $1500 more than your asking given the recent maintenance.
