Why are these not a staple of more builds?
Before people flame me about NVH, you can run these with poly mounts, it's just that not many people do since soft mounting eliminates alot of the reasons why people rock motor plates
I understand that mounting accessories would get... interesting... but aside from that these setups (with just the front plate [yes it's OK to use just the front plate, from what i understand it's only necessary when you're running 8-9 second quarter miles] and a stabilizer bar) offer much more clearance for the exhaust.
For instance, with the mount and mount bracket eliminated from this picture:
you could probably use el cheapo dirt track block huggers and route the exhaust under the steering shaft and eliminate the stupid BS exhaust routings that most ford swaps end up having to do
