    A/C recharge

I still have my r12 but I do not plan to convert. I checked the low side pressure and it seems fine so I don't believe I have leaks. I can see the freon in the glass window on the receiver/dryer. I'm thinking about taking it to a shop and having it vacuumed. Then replace the expansion valve and dryer and do a new charge. Anything else to check?

I saw the conversion thread but it seems like lot of parts to install. If I don't have a leak I'd prefer to keep r12.

I used a can of Freeze12 I got from ebay + the adapter kit, and recharged it myself. Worked like a charm. My a/c has always worked, but last summer it started to cool down a bit....that's when I refilled.
