E30 compressor

will any e30 compressor work on any other e30 ?

i need one for my 325is 1988. should i find it by part number or just buy any e30 compressor on ebay/here ?

i also need to replace the front tie rods. any recommended website/brand ?

Are you planning to run R12 or R134A? I had an R12 compressor in my car, but I bought a used compressor off of someone here and it happened to be a R134A compressor. They interchanged without any problems. I threw it in just because I could.

Do E30s actually have AC? I have yet to find one that it works. ;)
