05/94 ews obd1 harness?

I bought the harness out of 05/94 build 325is auto along with the matching 413 RED label ecu. Doing research on pin outs for c101s and X20s I came to the conclusion that there are several different pin-outs for the x20. My only main concern about this is pin 7 on my harness is Green. From my understandings this means the car had ews installed, but I find this hard to believe since the car came with a 413 red label ecu. So the real question is, does this harness and ecu have ews or not. If it does have ews, Im assuming it would be ews 1 and ews 1 apparently can be bypassed by getting an older 413 red label ecu.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated :up:

My S50 came with a 413 Silver and the original harness. The car wouldn't start (obviously, the '95 M3 had EWS 1). I plugged in a 413 Red and it fired right up (I have three actually, and it runs on all of them).

After more research I found out it was a ews 1 car, and the pin 7 is the signal from the relay to the dme. If that wire does not receive any voltage the dme will provide fuel and spark. If that wire is given 12 volts the dme will prevent fuel and spark. So essentially you just cut the wire and leave it. I figured I would post my findings here just in case someone in the future has the same issue.
