Any Differences between Euro and USA doors

Hey guys - I got into an accident this morning. See here:

This is a greymarket car - imported from Germany I believe. I just wanted to check with people here to see if the passenger side doors are any different from the european versions. I figured it might just be a DOT thing (the reason for different part numbers) but I'm not 100% sure. From my understanding the doors should be the same across all sedans.

    Thanks for your help!

I think the crash bar on the inside is different if I remember correctly. But I don't think it interferes with anything

Door bars were added to gray market cars if they were brought here years ago. Now that they are 25 years old, don't think it matters to the feds.

The glass and window mechanism changed in mid 88 but the doors interchange with a little work.

        Nice car, good luck.

As has been mentioned, either early or late doors will fit your car just fine. The window glass and mechanism changed in '88, but they work either way. You'll want to get early model belt trim if you end up with late model doors. It's easy to change though so don't let that scare you away from a good deal if you find one.

Good point, Toes! OP, whichever doors you get you'll want to use the windows and regulators from the damaged doors. U.S. glass is green, not brown.
