    power door locks

ok I'm sure this has been covered a good few times so I apologize for the redundancy.

I had perfectly working door locks on my cabrio. one day I went out to open the car and the locks were dead. tried from all the locks and getting zero response.

the drivers door won't lock or unlock but nothing else from drivers side.

the pass door locks and unlocks but nothing else will.

trunk locks and unlocks but nothing else will.

note: I don't seem to have any power going to them. the actuators aren't responding.

things I tested: changed the fuse thinking it blew
swapped in a good working DLCM. - no change

the door jam pins are fine.

what could leave the whole system suddenly dead?

any help would be appreciated. thx

problem solved: turned out to be the pin block in the door jam. My interior light was flickering on and off while the door was open. I pressed in the door jam button to see if the light would respond and nothing; so I wiggled the wiring going to the door plug and light flickered. This made me think maybe this has to do with the pins going to the light and door locks. pressed on the plug until I got the light to stay on and then tried the locks and wouldn't you know it. They work!!

this is a good write up:

Everybody who have a BMW E30 knows that it's a miracle to have a fully working central locking. But the most of us dont have it fully worki...
