Folks, I will try to explain the history of the car the best that I can. Looking to Move this and would love for it to go to an enthusiast. In return, I would love to keep this as a side project but my mother is moving and I currently do not have room for the vehicle.
My buddy baught the car off the original owner who serviced this car thru bmw from the best of my knowledge. He drove the car for a while, then sold it to me. Shortly after, I baught the car and fixed a fuel leak and then the timing belt snapped. I pulled the head and "rebuilt" another 885 with a couple parts heads, put a gasket set on it with new bolts. My mother was daily driving this thing and the upper rad flange snapped, the car sat and she got a new one. Its been sitting for a few years.
Last i tinkered with it was quite a few months back, the car ran but not the best. It definately needs a look over and new fluids all around. The trans seemed to be slow, not sure if its the underpowered m20 in an e34, the auto/diff ratios, or a combination of all of that. Battery is shot, and with the coolant flange broken on the rad this thing needs to be towed.
This is best suited as a donor or a clean shell. There is very very minor rust, and paint looks to be very salvageable. Before it sat, it shined pretty decent besides the bumper area. Im looking for 750 obo, feel free to text me with any questions and we are motivated to sell.
