I just completed a rear subframe refresh and swapped a 3.46 torsen in to the ETA....and yes it's a remarkable difference. I used my e30 diff cover since it had the solid rubber bushing and kept the e30 speedo sensor since it matched the connector and it's no big deal to change.
Of course the speedo doesn't work since the e30 sensor isn't matched to the Z3 trigger wheel so I ordered the Z3 connector and terminals....amazing that you can just buy those by themselves..
im sure once I replace the sensor my speedo will work but my question is...is a speedo signal a speedo signal or will my readings be off by xyz% ?
